Edward J. Schwartz Federal Building DHS-ICE, TIGTA, & FPS Tenant Improvement

Mechanical and plumbing engineering design services for the repair and alteration at the Edward J. Schwartz Federal Office Building located in downtown San Diego. The project consists of approximately 40,525 usable square feet (USF) for the Department of Homeland Security’s Immigration and Custom Enforcement unit (DHS-ICE), Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA) and the Federal Protective Service (FPS).

Mechanical systems include renovation of office space, including built up air handlers with VAV reheat. In addition there are Dx computer room specialty air conditioning units to provide precise room conditions for server spaces.

Plumbing systems include renovation of restrooms and various plumbing fixtures. Renovation includes new low flow plumbing fixtures, waste, water and vent piping serving new fixtures.
