Mechanical and Plumbing design for an adult male prison. The purpose of the Health Care Facility Improvement Program (HCFIP) projects is to remedy deficiencies in the health care components established by the California Correctional Health Care Services Program for the intermediate Institutions. The improvements were performed in the primary care, specialty care, administration segregation unit (ASU) clinic, health care administration, pharmacy and medication distribution rooms. This project includes new Primary Care Clinics and Health Care Administration Building, as well as renovation of existing buildings, infrastructure and ancillary improvements.

The mechanical systems include packaged rooftop heat pump units and packaged rooftop gas heating / electric cooling units.

Plumbing systems include compressed and air vacuum air dental for procedure and sterilization rooms. Domestic water distribution systems to medical exam rooms inmate security areas and healthcare plumbing fixtures. Also, there is domestic hot water generation through high efficiency fuel fired, tank type water heaters.
