MA Engineers has performed work for a vast number of university campuses (2-year, 4-year & vocational institutions) including projects for the University of San Diego, University of California, California State Universities and Loma Linda University. Projects include student centers, laboratories, classroom facilities, libraries and stadiums. Universities have taken advantage of MA Engineers’ wealth of experience in designing energy-efficient, modern, cost-saving facilities that are easy to maintain and expand.

Loma Linda, CA

This $50M complex consists of 140,000 SF of science laboratories for the Loma Linda Medical Center School of Medicine as well as lecture halls, special procedure labs, plastination room, crematory, distance learning rooms, classrooms, etc. The Mechanical system design included the design of HVAC, plumbing, site utility distribution and process systems. Design considerations included connection to the site utilities and providing a mechanical design to meet specific acoustic, aesthetic and functional requirements. The building utilizes a state-of-the-art Direct Digital Control (DDC) System.
