Additional Projects:

Center for Reproduction of Endangered Species, Escondido, CA

Mechanical engineering services including HVAC design for the 60,000 SF biological wet laboratory for San Diego’s Wild Animal Park boasting a Bio Safety Level-3 laboratory. This facility houses various laboratories, vivariums, ultra cold freezers, nitrogen cryo-genics, sterile processing department and administrative spaces. Mechanical system design includes the design of HVAC, plumbing and process systems. Design considerations included upgrading the existing central mechanical plant chiller capacity and minimizing the aesthetic effect of the mechanical systems. The system utilizes state-of-the-art Direct Digital Control (DDC) System. The CRES facility received a silver level LEED certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.
