MA Engineers has designed mechanical systems for police stations, detention facilities, government headquarters and courthouses for the local and federal General Services Agencies (GSAs). Facility features include crime labs, shooting ranges, evidence storage rooms, jails, investigation offices, dispatch centers, community and offices areas, and secured parking structures. MA Engineers has designed projects that meet Federal Anti-Terrorism Force Protection Guidelines (ATFP) as well as energy incentive-winning solutions that save the government money.

Complete mechanical and plumbing systems for this 300,000 SF $67M facility. The complex is comprised of three office buildings. The tenant improvement portion of the project includes office space, conference rooms with extensive video / teleconferencing capabilities, a child care center, and kitchen and café areas. This project includes “green building” design for optimum energy efficiency and a state-of-the-art central heating and cooling plant. This project qualified for San Diego Gas & Electric’s energy incentive with 20.2% better than Title 24.
